Instead of simply doing the routine in the gym, and doing it wrong, you can squeeze more out of your workout time. You don’t have to spend 45 minutes doing those sweat-sprinkling exercises with burning lungs and blurry legs, and yet get disappointed with the results. Below are some exercises that will help you get stronger, in same number of hours.
If you general routine says doing 5 repetitions, try to adjust 2 more in your schedule. Pick up maximum weight and do max repetitions. However, do not start with the maximum right from set 1. Work your way up to the heaviest you can lift.
Exercises to become stronger
Start with little warm-up sets of 5-8 reps, and make your workout intense every set.
Don’t spend your energy by performing futile exercises between the sets. Instead, stay within the rage of your machine or weights and try to add more reps with saved energy. When you are in the gym, try to save as much energy as you can when not working out.
3.Beat the Program
If your program says 6 reps, do 8. If it says 40 mins workout, do it for 60 mins. These programs are intense but they are softer. You body can manage far more than the list of exercises. The more you workout, the more your body can workout. Beat the program, make your body stronger.
4.Take Adequate Rest and Have Proper Diet
Rest and diet is as important as your workout. If you don’t get adequate rest, you body wouldn’t be able to repair muscles and tissues stretched during workout. Besides, your body also requires important nutrients to become stronger, tougher, and sustainable. Hence, if you don’t like to miss your fitness sessions, you shouldn’t skip your meals at all, and get adequate sleep every day.
